Friedland Fundraiser Accounts
a way to help the organization or charity of your choice, as well as the environment
There are two types of ways to support the fundraiser or charity of your choice at Friedland.
The Ongoing Friedland Fundraiser Account
With an ongoing Friedland Fundraiser Account, people can come in on behalf of a fundraiser we have in our system, and we just add the amount of money we would normally pay them for their recyclables onto the fundraiser account. The Friedland Fundraiser Accounts are ongoing, and we write a check to the fundraiser for the amount of money that has been raised each month.
For questions, or if you would like to open a Friedland Fundraiser Account, please give us a call at (517) 482-3000 for more information.

Scrap Art Guy - Fundraiser Account for Scrap Art Guy, Tom Sheerin. This is to help raise money for Tom Sheerin’s treatment to battle Barrett’s Esophagus with Dsyplasia, something that has a high chance of being cured with treatment right now, but will most-likely lead to Cancer if left untreated. Tommy has beautified Michigan with his artwork (made from scrap metal), be it his creations during Scrapfest, his mini motorcycles & other personal projects, or even his most recent large project, the Scrap Metal Sparty on display at the MSU Surplus Store/Recycling Center. He is a wonderful person, with wonderful talent, and we’re happy to help him! Click here to view some of Tommy’s artwork!

Place a Roll-off Container for a Scheduled Event
We can also place a roll-off container for a schedule event you may have. Typically, we place roll-offs for scrap metal and/or paper drives. This is good for a one-time or annual event scheduled on a specific weekend, rather than on an ongoing basis.
For questions, or if you would like us to place a roll-off container for your event, please give us a call at (517) 482-3000 for more information.
